Zoom Group Elects Shane Wiles as Newest Member to the Board of Directors

For those unfamiliar with the Zoom Group Organization and the resources they provide for Kentuckians. In 1952, concerned advocates for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities founded The Council on Developmental Disabilities. The Council, which still exists today, along with Seven County Services in 1986, established Louisville Diversified Services, known today as Zoom Group. The Zoom Group Organization was created to provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to work and engage socially in their community.

For 35 years their services have expanded to provide a multitude of Programs and Resources, providing inviting atmospheres allowing each individual to engage and enhance daily living skills, broaden communication skills, develop rewarding relationships, and build self reliance.
