The Jamon Brown Foundation Empowerment Center mission is building a community where families can live, grow, and thrive through sports, learning, and creating lifelong relationships for a stronger future. The Empowerment Center’s a response to the overwhelming gun violence and violent crime to the youth in the city of Louisville.

The development of the community center strives to empower, inspire, and unite the communities of West Louisville. The building design includes an indoor sports facilities, class rooms, healthcare offices, rooftop pool, and leasable venue spaces. At its core, the building design is conceived as a multifaceted hub of activity and collaboration, with amenities carefully curated to meet the community’s diverse needs.

The center’s design includes an indoor sports facility, a key feature that provides a space for athletic pursuits and recreational activities. This promotes physical well-being and encourages social interaction, fostering a healthier and more connected community.

The center’s rooftop pool is a standout feature, offering a refreshing escape and a focal point for relaxation and leisure. Additionally, leasable venue spaces provide a platform for community events, cultural gatherings, and economic opportunities, further enhancing the center’s role as a catalyst for positive change and social cohesion in West Louisville.
